Dr. Pablo Lozano Lominchar

Dr. Pablo Lozano Lominchar is a surgical oncologist at Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid and Associate Professor of Surgery at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. His clinical and academic career has been shaped by a commitment to advancing the treatment of complex abdominal malignancies.

After his medical degree and surgical residency at Gregorio Marañón, he undertook a highly competitive fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) in New York, one of the world's leading cancer centres. There he deepened his expertise in cytoreductive surgery, HIPEC, and retroperitoneal sarcoma.

He has been part of a peritoneal carcinomatosis programme for over 15 years, alongside dedicated work in retroperitoneal sarcoma and complex pelvic surgery. His research focuses on improving outcomes in these rare diseases, with over 50 peer-reviewed publications.

Beyond the operating room, he mentors the next generation of oncologic surgeons. He created HybridBeastBrain, a coaching portal with adaptive AI, and SurgicalBoardsQA, a question bank for international surgical board examination preparation.
